Projects Manager
Responsible to: The Head of Projects
Full Time Position
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with the COO and Head of Projects for the formulation of the project concepts.
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary project schedules and costings, including setting realistic timelines for the development of specific deliverables.
- Carry out regular site meetings and visits in Malta and Gozo as necessary.
- Coordinate and monitor project progress and work being performed to ensure that projects are running within the established criteria and timelines.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure that project plans and project deliverables are on track and performance is up to date.
- Assist in identifying and managing risks and define mitigation actions to counter these risks.
- Consult with relevant stakeholders to determine the parameters of the planned projects as well as to discuss matters that may arise before and during implementation.
- Advise and participate in the preparation and evaluation of tenders.
- Attend meetings and briefings as required.
- Prepare and present reports and other documentation to Management as requested.
- Attend and represent the Company at meetings, conferences, and seminars, in Malta and abroad as necessary.
- Has an open disposition for further training and self-development.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project-related environment.
- Diploma in Management or a related field or any other certification in the same areas equivalent to MQF Level 4.
- Knowledge and command of Microsoft Office tools, and ideally possess a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of construction site management.
Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills. - Being in possession of a valid driving license and may require the use of own vehicle for work-related matters.
- Proficient in the Maltese and English languages both in writing and speaking
- Proficiency in computer skills and research techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to work on own initiative without supervision, as well as within a team.
- Effective multitasking capabilities, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
