Full Time Position
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assists the Chief Operations Officer in the formulation, development, and implementation of projects.

Monitors the implementation of projects, including site visits, and ensures that targets, deliverables, and projects’ objectives are achieved.

Effectively identifies, communicates, mitigates, and resolves proactively projects / stakeholder-related issues and ensure adherence to project quality standards, aligning all stakeholders with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

Collaborate with internal teams to create project documentation, maintain accurate records, provide technical guidance and regular updates and reports on project progress.

Assists in tender drafting and evaluation.

Draft Bills of Quantities and high-level costings for projects being studied/evaluated by the Company.

Provides guidance to COO and Department Team on project-related challenges.

Provides technical drawings and design proposals for projects being studied/evaluated by the Company.

Prepares and submits planning applications on behalf of the company and provides technical advice in relation to planning policies and regulations.

Prepare comprehensive status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing relevant data and report and escalate issues to management as deemed necessary.

Conduct post-project evaluations to identify both successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Attend and represent the Company at meetings, conferences, and seminars, in Malta and abroad as necessary.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Has an open disposition for further training and self-development.

Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications
-
Academic qualification in architectural and civil engineering at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or higher, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC), or an internationally recognized professional qualification of an equivalent level.

Be in possession of a Warrant to practice as a Perit in accordance with the Periti Act (Cap. 390, Laws of Malta) or is in the process of obtaining such Warrant.

Possess a solid understanding of AutoCAD and CAD and have proficiency in preparing schematic design drawings.

Minimum of two (2) years’ hands-on experience in a technical and/or industrial environment, including construction/renovation initiatives.

Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to reprioritize tasks and systematically manage workloads, while monitoring progress and adapting to changing circumstances.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a talent for identifying and influencing solutions to challenges.
-
Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
-
Being in possession of a valid driving license and may require the use of own vehicle for work-related matters.

Proficient in the Maltese and English languages both in writing and speaking.
-
Proficiency in computer skills and research techniques.
-
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
-
Effective multitasking capabilities, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
